Welcome to the NTPE. NTPE documents our collective research activities in order to communicate these to current and prospective graduate students. Our aim is to explore and understand the terrain of educational policy through social theory and philosophy. We are particularly interested in the subjects and subjectivities of transnationalism, racialization, and academic identities (e.g., teachers or academics) as related to educational policy. We specialize in a variety of research methodologies, including case study, fieldwork, critical discourse analysis, and critical visual methodologies. With expertise in K-12 and higher education policy, our work covers a broad range of educational contexts.
